4. Close the engine choke lever.
Note: The closed choke position enriches the fuel
mixture for starting a cold engine. The open choke
position provides the correct fuel mixture for
operation after the engine starts and for restarting a
warm engine.
5. Pull the starter handle.
6. After the engine starts, slowly open the choke. Allow
the engine to warm for a few minutes.
To operate the product, Soff-Cut 150
1. Open the engine throttle lever to full open position
for maximum engine speed.
2. Line up the saw with the cut line using the white
wheel on the front guide and the triangle pointer on
the back of the blade block.
3. Push down on the saw handle and pull the blade
release lever to lower the blade in the concrete
slowly.
4. Push the saw forward to cut keeping the front guide
wheel in the cut line.
5. Push the saw at about half speed for the first 50 feet
to allow the blade to develop good diamond
exposure.
6. Increase the forward speed of the saw until the blade
and engine are working at maximum efficiency. Do
not force the saw.
7. When approaching a wall, raise the front guide and
use the triangle guide at the back of the blade block
to cut the last few feet.
CAUTION: Do not hit the blade block
assembly against any object. Damage
may result.

To operate the product, Soff-Cut 150 D
1. Open the engine throttle lever to full open position
for maximum engine speed.
2. Line up the rear guide wheel with the pre-existing
saw cut.
3. Push down on the saw handle and pull the blade
release lever to slowly lower the saw and drop the
rear guide wheel, then the front guide wheel, into the
saw cut.
Note: Do not completely lower the saw and the blade
into the concrete until the front and rear guide
wheels are positively aligned in the saw cut.
4. Once the guide wheels are in the saw cut, lower the
saw completely to start chasing the joint.
5. Chase an existing saw joint for approximately one
foot and verify blade/guide wheel alignment and that
the proper decorative cut is achieved.
6. Increase the forward speed of the saw until the blade
and engine are working at maximum efficiency. Do
not force the saw.
7. Maintain an even speed; pushing the saw too fast
will cause the blade to ride up out of the saw joint
causing uneven beveling.
To stop the engine
1. Raise the blade by pushing down on the handle bar
with both hands to the full and locked position.
2. Move the engine throttle lever to the full closed
position.
3. Turn the switch to the OFF position (O). This also
closes the fuel valve.
Note: Clean the product after finished operation.
