SAFETY
Before you use your wine cellar for the first time, carefully read this user guide. Be sure to keep it
handy so you can refer to it when you need to, or be able to give it to a new device owner.
•
Make sure that your electrical installation's voltage and powering rates correspond to the
indications on the name/data plate on your wine cellar, which must be connected to a system with
a certified earthing. Repairs or incorrect connections will lead to dangerous situations. Have your
electrical installation checked by a professional if you are in doubt.
•
To avoid any risk, if the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an approved technical centre,
the dealer, his after-sales department, or by an equivalently qualified person.
•
An electrical device must only be repaired by qualified personnel. Unqualified repairs may lead to
serious dangers for the user.
•
For safety reasons, do not use an electrical extension cord.
•
Do not connect the device to electrical multi-use adapters.
•
Disconnect the device before performing any servicing or cleaning operation (disconnect the power
plug or the corresponding circuit breaker depending on the model).
•
In case liquid is accidentally spilled (broken bottle or other) on the electrical elements (motor or
other), immediately disconnect the power plug.
•
If your device is damaged (major shock) or has suffered from any kind of incident (overvoltage due
to lightning, flooding, fire), it may prove dangerous. Disconnect the power plug and have the device
checked by an approved professional repairman.

Keep children away from the device. Do not let them play with the device.
•
Do not use this device outdoors. Do not expose it to atmospheric agents (humidity, etc.).

This device is designed to conserve only wine. Do not place food inside it.
•
This device is not designed to be used by people (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or intellectual capacities, or by people lacking experience or knowledge unless they are
watched or have received instructions on how to use the device by a person responsible for their
safety.

This device is designed to be used in household and analogous applications, such as kitchen
corners reserved for personnel in stores, offices and other professional environments, farms, by
hotel or motel customers, and in other residential environments, or room rental environments.
•
Never pull on the power cord. Never carry the device by the cord and never pull on the cord to
disconnect it. Grasp the plug connected to the wall outlet and pull it out.
•
Place the power cable in a way to protect it from any damage or risks of falling.
