As high pressures constitute a potential safety risk, the following must be considered:
• The equipment should only be operated by trained personnel.
• Always follow these instructions for use.
• Check the pressure gauge carefully before use. Never use even slightly damaged
components.
• Never use the pressure gauge above the stated maximum pressure of 100 MPa
(14,500 psi).
• Never modify the pressure gauge.
• Batteries represent a choking hazard. Keep batteries away from children.
• Only use clean, recommended hydraulic oils (e.g. SKF LHMF 300, LHDF 900 or
similar).
• In case of any uncertainties as regards the use of the pressure gauge, contact SKF.
Note:
These instructions refer to TMJG 100D high precision digital pressure gauges with a
serial number prefixed by the letter E. (e.g. E03220123).

1. Application

The high precision digital pressure gauge TMJG 100D is designed to accurately measure
hydraulic pressures up to 100 MPa (14,500 psi). A high precision digital pressure gauge is
essential when mounting bearings with the SKF Drive-up Method.

2. Description

The TMJG 100D uses a piezo-resistive element to generate a voltage signal proportional
to the applied pressure. The electronics of the pressure gauge convert this voltage signal
to a presure reading on the display.
The pressure gauge displays the current pressure and the maximum presure on the dual
display. The user can configure the pressure gauge to display readings in MPa or PSI.
The pressure gauge is suitable for use with SKF pumps 729124, TMJL 50 and TMJL 100.
The pressure gauge can also be connected directly to an SKF Hydraulic Nut type HMV.E.
