Experienced craftsmen can perform minor repairs
on the machine itself.
• Check the saw blade regularly. Use only
well-sharpened, crack-free and not distorted saws.
Use only tools that comply with the European
standard EN 847-1.
• Exchange immediately rocker that run out.
• Check all safety installations after each mainte-
nance and cleaning activities.
• Ensure that there are no tools or other materials on
or in the machine before putting it into operation.
• Remove possible sawdust blockages at the dis-
charge.
Exchange of saw blade

1 Disconnect the unit from the power supply or dis-
connect the ignition cable from the spark plug
2 Wait for a while and allow to cool.
3 The exchange of the saw blade can only be
undertaken in firewood cut position.
4 Open side lid.
5 Put the locking pen (1) through the bottom saw
blade protection to lock the saw blade.
6 Loosen the saw blade with the supplied open-end
wrench female six fold wrench (2).
7 Carefully remove the saw blade. Wear safety
gloves. (Caution: Danger of injury)!
8 Before using the new saw blade, clean the flange
with a cloth or brush.
9 Replace the saw blade and the flange and tighten
the flange nut again.
10 Now remove the locking pin so that the saw blade
can turn freely again.
11 Close the side cover.
12 Carry out the functional test of the rocker and
saw blade.
m Attention! When installing the saw blade, pay
attention to the correct direction of rotation!
