ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE A FUNCTION
After entering in the base functions or advanced functions tables, press briefly the button on the control
panel and position on the number of the line corresponding to the function that you wish to activate/
deactivate. The quick flashing will indicate that the function is deactivated, the slow flashing will indicate
that the function is activated. The number of flashing corresponds to the number of the line of the functions
table that you have selected.
Keep pressed the button of the control panel to activate/deactivate a function until the frequency of
the flashing LED changes.
More functions can be activated at the same time on the same page.
The activation of a function does not automatically deactivate the others.
When closing the bonnet, the system signals with a flash of 3 s of the turn indicators that you are
leaving the programming procedure. Refer to the programming tables for functions.
CAN BUS CONFIGURATION
The products CAN BUS 4800/4900 are factory-programmed to support different vehicle platforms with a
serial CAN (Controller Area Network) interface.
This procedure is crucial to fix within the product the correct vehicle platform chosen from a list of available
vehicles present within the system.
Programming mode is entered only during the first 5 s each time the system is powered.
The entry into "Programming Functions" and the activation of a function, disables the possibility to
reconfigure the product.
During the first 5 s, signalled by the fast flashing of the LED, press for 1 s the button of the control panel.
The LED will flash to indicate the entry in the vehicle index, a number of times programmed from manufacture
(e.g. 3 flashes).
The number of flashes corresponds to the line number of the index table CAN. Each line of the index table
corresponds to a different vehicle platform.
Press briefly the button of the control panel, each time the button is pressed the index is increased, when
the maximum number of codes available has been reached the count will loop round to number one.
Position yourself to the number of flashes of the LED corresponding to the vehicle platform desired, wait
approximately 20s for confirmation programming mode has been closed, signalled by the led switching off.
Switch off and then on the systems power supply and wait until the sequence of fast flashes, for
confirmation it has been correctly configured.
Check the functionality of the pre-selected configuration pressing the button of the original remote control,
the system will set it self.
