General Warnings and Cautions

1. Read instruction manual completely before use.
2. All Altair 4 QuickCheck Station units are only to be used with the
specific gas for which they are labeled.
3. Use the QuickCheck Station only in non-hazardous environments.
4. Repair or alteration of the Altair 4 QuickCheck Station, beyond the
procedures described in this manual or by anyone other than a
person authorized by MSA, could cause the instrument to fail to
perform properly.
5. Use only genuine MSA replacement parts when performing any
maintenance procedures described in this manual. Substitution of
components can seriously impair instrument performance, alter
intrinsic safety characteristics or void agency approvals.
