Test Station Set-up

1. Place the unit:
• on a level surface
• in an atmosphere with an ambient noise level of 60 dB or less.
2. Test station power requirements are:
• 115-230 VAC 50-60 Hz input (MSA power supply only).
3. Connect the power cord to the receptor on the bottom of the unit.
4. To connect tubing:
a. Attach one end of tubing to the regulator barb fitting.
b. Attach other end of tubing to the test station barb fitting.
c. Place the plastic cap over the unused barb fitting on the
opposite side of QuickCheck Station.
5. Connect the regulator to the necessary gas cylinder.
• See TABLE 1-2 for recommended gas cylinder concentrations.
The Altair 4 QuickCheck can be:
• used with an Altair 4 QuickCheck Cylinder Holder
(P/N 10101085) with the supplied adapter and tubing
• mounted on either side of the Altair 4 QuickCheck
Cylinder Holder.
NOTE: Before operation, be sure to cover unused gas fittings
located on each side of the QuickCheck Station and
cylinder holder with the supplied fitting cover.
NOTE: Up to two Altair 4 QuickCheck units can be used with an
Altair 4 QuickCheck Cylinder Holder.
Use of more than two QuickCheck Stations per regulator
may cause erroneous results.
