3.2.7 Cutting a tesa key TE-T60 and TE-T80
Special position of the clamp. The TE-T60 key is clamped as
shown in the drawing below:
See figure16
The TE-T80 key has the peculiarity that to machine the left-
hand side it has to be clamped like the TE-T60 key and to
machine the right-hand side it has to be clamped on the back
of the clamp as for the MCM-10.

Optional tubular clamp
This section explains the different models of keys that can be cut if
you purchase the tubular clamp (optional clamp, not supplied with
the standard DAKAR-EXPRESS machine):
3.3.1 Tubular type keys
Use the tracer point and milling cutter no. 8. Position the keys in the
centre of the " V ", with the guides to the right, so that they are
properly in place. Adjust the keys using the lights and always cut from
top to bottom, to avoid any bending in the tracer point. Remove the
flexibility from the tracer point with the X – Y locking. 1st speed.
See figure 17
3.3.2 Cutting tok-winkhaus keys WIN-1D, WIN-2D, WIN-3D
& WIN-4D
Use tool no. 15. Adjust two flat blank keys. Then place the key
with the teeth upwards in the correct position (as shown in
the drawing). The tip should be right in. Remove the flexibility
from the tracer point, with the machine switched on, insert the
tracer point right in one of the points. Lock the milling cutter
and the tracer point with the right-hand lever and make the
cut. 1st speed.

3.3.3 Fichet type keys FIC & FIC-3
Use the tracer point and milling cutter no. 11. Properly adjust the
keys in the clamp, resting them on the bottom and pushing them
towards the front face of the clamp.
Position the milling cutter and the tracer point at about the same
height, remove the flexibility from the tracer point and lock the
milling cutter and the tracer point so that the milling cutter passes
over the clamp without touching it.
Having cut the two top sides, turn the keys taking care to remove
any burrs to ensure correct positioning and locking. 1st speed.
