4.0 OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS BEFORE USE
Prepare a quantity of supers with frames to uncap, and place them in a convenient location.
For reasons of cleanliness and practicality, the use of trolleys for carrying supers is recommended.
Take the first super and scrape the frame bottom to remove burr comb and excess propolis.
4.2 KNIFE HEATING (fig. 7 page 19)

The thermostatically controlled resistance does not work all the time, thus saving energy.
The selector (P) is lit when the resistor element is active.
Adjust the thermostat to a temperature below 110 ° C.
4.3 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (fig. 7 – Side view page 22)
Connect the machine to the mains and check that the red emergency button (T) is not engaged.
Start heating the knives as explained under section 4.2 above.
After about a minute from when the knives heating is on, you can start working.
Make sure that drive rollers (28 – page 22) are not in the frame inlet area; if necessary, hold down the lever
(19 – page 21) until the first drive roller is at the same position as the reversing roller.
Place the first frame on the chain (with the top bar up) then push it until the pressure exerted by the top bar on
the microswitch lever (19 – page 22) sets in motion the chain and the knives.
After the frame moves past the knives and the rotary blades, the lever descends and stops the chain motion.
Now the operator can recover the frame and place it in an empty super.
