This Fuel Pump is designed to be installed on carburetor type
of vehicles. The fuel comes in through the inlet pipe and the
strain er element, then pumped forward to carburetor through the
outlet pipe.
Features
1) Operates on car battery and can be installed easily.
2) Light weight and compact; positive fuel delivery permits quick
acceleration.
3) This pump is suited to install on the car under approximately
3,000 c.c. engine.
4) Starts pumping immediately as the power switch is turn ed on.
5) Reduced power consumption and pumps fuel more fre quently
when you drive fast; less often at low speeds. Solenoid opera-
tion eliminates fire hazards and extends pump life.
6) Built-in filter keeps dust out and adds to pump and engine life.
Operating principle
The Fuel Pump consists of Relay mechanism, Solenoid me-
chanism, Pump and Strainer mechanism. Relay mechanism is
hermetically sealed. A magnet and a plunger spring give vertical
motion to the plunger and consequently to the piston whereto
the plunger is connected. This action pumps up the fuel.
