Cleaning
! Before performing any maintenance operation
disconnect the hood from the mains.
To ensure that your hood works efficiently and
constantly it is recommended that it should be
regularly cleaned (every ten days on average).

Cleaning the grease filters

The grease filter captures the greases from the
cooking fumes.
The filter is in layers of stretched aluminium.
The filter has a more or less unlimited life, but it must
be washed at regular intervals that may vary
according to the intensity of use, and in any case at
least once every 30 days, as well as whenever the
saturation indicator
lights up.

Let the metal grease filters dry before putting it back
into place.

Cleaning the charcoal filter
The charcoal filter must be cleaned once every two
months, and every time the saturation indicator
lights up.
The carbon filter may be washed in hot water and
suitable detergent or in dishwasher at 65°C once
every two months (for cleaning in dishwasher ensure
to run full wash cycle with filters only and no crockery).

First remove the
perimeter suction panels
(f1).
Remove the metal
grease filters using the
handles designed for
this purpose by pulling
the filter backwards and
place in oven for 10 minutes at 100°C for drying.
Replace sponge every 3 years or when damaged.

Cleaning of the unit's exterior
Wipe down regularly especially when cooking with
salted water (vegetables, shellfish, etc.)
To clean the outside of the hood, use cloth dampened
either with denaturated alcohol or an adequate
product found on the market.
Never use products containing abrasives.
Lighting - Replacing a lamp
To replace the faulty lamp proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
• Use a small screwdriver as a lever on the borders of
the lamp in order to remove the lightbulb.
• Slide out the lightbulb to be replaced and replace
with a new 12V 20W 30° Ø35 12V GU4 PHILIPS
STANDARD LINE code 425409.
• Carry out the replacement and mount the new
lightbulb by following instructions in the reverse.
• Therefore, re-connect the cooker hood to the
electricity mains.
Before calling for technical assistance because
the hood fails to light up, make sure
the lamps are well mounted.
