Installation
Propane gas is preferable to butane, as butane has zero pressure at 0°C whereas a pressure of 4 bars can be obtained with
propane at the same temperature.
Attach the 1.5 to 4 bars adjustable pressure gauge to the propane cylinder.
Connect the rubber hose between the pressure gauge and the torch. The handle couplings have an M16 X 1.50 left-handed
thread for France, and a 3/8" left-handed thread for other countries.
No pressure gauge is necessary when using butane.
Use
Piezo Torch 5200
Open the gas cylinder valve.
Unscrew the valve (3) of the torch until you hear the
sound of gas, then press the push-button (4) to ignite.
The flame is controlled by means of the adjustable pressure gauge and by turning the torch's control knob.
When work is completed, close the cylinder valve and wait for the extinction of the flame before shutting the valve on the torch,
so as to burn off all the gas contained in the hose.
Caution:
Never cool the torch by dipping it in water, a jet of compressed air can be used without risk of damage.
