Installation
The device has to be connected in accordance with the circuit diagram enclosed
with the delivery.
Please refer to the following pages or the circuit diagram enclosed with the
delivery for connection of the option selected by you.

Parallel connection

CAUTION
Damage or destruction of the device for versions with 230 V 1 AC caused by
faulty electrical connection. Does not apply for Picolo XL - P.
• A parallel connection of several AC drives is impermissible. This requires
multipolar switches or cut-off relays.

Picolo XL, 24 V DC
Indirectly parallel connected means that an additional component is required to
interrupt the capacitor feedback voltage. It can be a multipole switch or a isola-
ting relay.
• A n additional component with an integrated isolating relay can be ordered as
part number 239940002 (central controller).
