CALIBRATION
This scale has been factory calibrated and does not require calibration prior to use.
For maintenance, the calibration procedure may be performed using a known weight in kilograms.
Note: Calibration weight must be no less than 11 lb (5 kg) and no more than 44 lb (20 kg).
Press and hold the Kg/LB and ZERO/CLEAR buttons at the same time, then momentarily
press the ON/OFF button to start the scale. When "CAL" appears in the display, release the
Kg/LB and ZERO/CLEAR buttons.
Press the ZERO/CLEAR button. "C-5" will flash on the display and then the display will return
to "0".
Place 5 kg on the scale and when calibration number displayed stabilizes, press the
ZERO/CLEAR button. "C-10" will flash on the display and then the display will return to "0".
Place 10 kg on the scale and when calibration number displayed stabilizes, press the
ZERO/CLEAR button. "C-15" will flash on the display and then the display will return to "0".
Place 15 kg on the scale and when calibration number displayed stabilizes, press the
ZERO/CLEAR button. "C-20" will flash on the display and then the display will return to "0".
Place 20 kg on the scale and when calibration number displayed stabilizes, press the
ZERO/CLEAR button. "END" will appear on the display and the scale will automatically turn off.

Check / Replace the batteries

Replace batteries according to instructions
1.
Remove interfering object from the scale—be
sure the scale is not touching the wall
2.
Ask the patient to step off the scale. Zero the
scale and begin weighing process again

Place scale on level surface

Check weight with known weight value (see the
calibration procedure above)
Remove weight, turn scale off, turn scale on again
and try again
Clear scale of any weight and re-zero scale by
pressing ZERO/CLEAR button
