II Group of material designed for places with potentially explosive atmospheres, other
than mines susceptible to firedamp.
2 Area where an explosive atmosphere, is likely to occur in case of abnormal working
conditions of the installation.

Ex Symbol which indicates that the material complies with one or several of the protection
modes in accordance with European Standards

e Component with increased safety protection
