7. Connection

After successful device installation, you
can now start to connect it. Carefully
take off the connection terminal cover. It
is attached with two screws. After suc-
cessful connection, replace the cover
and re-attach the attachment screws
removed first.
The voltage required for operation is 12 - 16 V/DC at the terminal
clamps 7 (-) and 8 (+).
Observe correct polarity in order not to damage the product!
We recommend to additionally connect a (12 V, 1,2 Ah) lead battery to
maintain operation in case of a power outage.
For this, observe the connection example in chapter: "7.8"!
Activate the operational voltage only after completing all connec-
tions.
