Adjusting and removing armrests
When delivered, the armrests are already mounted
to the wheelchair. Depending on your requests, the
armrests can be set as short or long armrests (Picture
18+19). To set, press the spring button in the middle on
the outside of the armrest (picture 20); this can now be
pushed into the desired position.
The spring button must lock into position after
adjustment. Select the next position if necessary!
To fold back the armrest, you must push the lever on
the front of the armrest and pull back the armrest at the
same time. (Picture 21 + 22)
If you want to remove the armrest, you must unlock it as
described, and lift it a little until it can be removed. By
pulling and holding the unlock lever (Picture 23+24) on
the back of the wheelchair, you can remove the whole
armrest.
Extend wheel base
If necessary, the wheel base can be extended by 80
mm. To do so, you must remove both wheels, as well
as the screws attached to the wheel receiver. The wheel
receiver may be turned 180° and mounted a little further
back. Screws should be inserted and tightened. The fi-
xing brake should be adjusted to the new position, as
described in "Adjusting fixing brakes and use". If the
wheelchair is equipped with a hand brake, the brake
plates must be removed prior to extending the wheel
base and installing it after. This adjustment should only
be performed by a specialized dealer. (Picture 25).
Operating the tilting aid
To manoevre around kerb stones and over thresholds
step heavily (with the left or right foot) on the tilting aid
whilst simultaneously pushing down the handles. This
ensures that lifting the front of the wheelchair is easier.
Ensure that you are standing securely (Picture 26).
Folding
You can fold this wheelchair with only one pull, for easy
transportation and storage in a car. To do so, please remo-
ve the optional seat cushion and footrests first, then pull up
the straps attached to the seat – done! (Picture 27+28).
