34. Should foods cake around the blades, switch the blender off
and pull the plug. Make sure the motor and blades have com-
pletetly stopped and the ventilator has switched off, before
removing the jug from the motor base. Use a plastic spatula
to break up resp. stir the foods around the blades before pro-
ceeding to blend. Do not use fingers as the blades are sharp!
35. Never use the appliance if the blades are damaged or some-
thing other than food is in the blender jug.
36. Once the power plug has been connected to the power outlet,
you must not reach into the blender jug resp. touch the blades.
37. Keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing, jewelry and kitchen utensils
well away from the blender jug when the appliance is switched
on! Risk of injury! The included tamper can be used carefully,
provided that the lid is fastened to the jug and only the cap is
removed.
38. Only if the plug is pulled and the jug is removed, you can reach
into the blender jug with your fingers, hands or kitchen uten-
sils! Even then, exercise extreme caution, as the blades also
are very sharp when standing still. Avoid touching the moving
parts of the blender!
39. Be careful when handling the jug as the blades are very sharp.
Be careful when emptying the blender jug and during cleaning.
Mishandling of the blades may cause injury.
40. Never remove blender jug from the motor base while the appli-
ance is switched on and in use!
41. Never operate the appliance with a timer switch or a remote
control. This will prevent the appliance from switching on
automatically or accidentally, e.g. after the motor overload
protection has been triggered.
42. Only use the Solis Ultra X-Press to prepare foods and/or bever-
ages.
43. Never use the blender without foods or liquids in the blender
jug.

44. If you have selected the soup program, the friction of the
blades might warm up the contents. The potentially devel-
oping pressure can escape through the air outlets in the cap.
Please be careful when touching the lid or the blender jug, as
it might get hot. The coupling screw on the outside of the bot-
tom of the blender jug gets very hot after prolonged blending,
too! Please be careful not to touch the bottom of the blender
jug when lifting off the blender jug!
45. Always be careful when pouring very warm liquids into the
blender jug. The liquid could spill out of the jug and burn you!
46. When blending very warm liquids, ensure that the cap is prop-
erly inserted into the fastened lid. The cap, inserted in the
lid, ensures that nothing can squirt out and acts as a valve to
reduce internal pressure and steam generation.
47. When removing the cap after blending, be careful! Steam
bubbles might have formed and could splash out of the jug
after opening.
48. Do not expose the blender jug to extreme temperature
changes. For example, do not place a cold blender jug in hot
water and vice versa.
49. Do not place any parts of the blender in the microwave!
50. Keep the appliance clean. Always switch the appliance off and
pull the plug before cleaning and storing the appliance. Refer
to „Care and cleaning" instructions on page 108 in this man-
ual. Never submerge the motor base in water and do not clean
any of the motor base parts with a wet or very moist towel.
51. Remove all packaging materials, package leaflets and stickers
and rinse the lid with the seal cap as well as the blender jug
with the blade base in warm dishwater with a soft dish rag
before using the appliance for the first time. Please refer to the
section „Before first use" on page 102 of this manual.
Caution: The blender blades are extremely sharp, avoid any
contact with your fingers resp. with your hand!
