CHAPTER 6 :
ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS
Do not change in any way the rated speed of the engine (carburetor side or regulator side)
Your engine was adjusted in the factory and the non-respect of the pre-set engine speed could
be dangerous to your safety and others' safety. If the rated speed is changed in any way, the
product warranty will be terminated.
CHAPTER 7:
ENGINE STORAGE
IMPORTANT: The gasoline is a product which grows old very quickly and you should not keep
it more than a month either in the fuel tank or in a jerry can.
After a long period of storage, putting fresh gasoline in your engine permits to avoid serious
difficulties in the start of the engine.
If your machine is not used over one month, please check the following:
•
Either the gasoline is changed to fresh gasoline every month or you should mix the
gasoline with a stabilizer (available in all service station dealers), which will avoid that
gasoline age quickly and will also avoid gorm and warmish deposit in the carburettor.
The incidents, which result from the non-respect of these recommendations, are not
accepted in warranty, because they are not the result of defective fabrication or quality of
the product.
•
At the end of a normal season use, fill up your engine with a minimum of gasoline and
allow it to run until all gasoline is used and let the engine stop by lack of gasoline. By using
this method, you will drain the fuel tank and the carburettor gasoline without any risk and
with no stain on your hands.
NEVER STORE ENGINE WITH GASOLINE IN THE FUEL TANK EITHER INDOOR OR IN
AN ENCLOSED / POORLY VENTILATED AREA, WHERE FUEL FUMES MAY REACH AN
OPEN FLAME, SPARKOR PILOT LIGHT AS ON FURNACE, WATER HEATER, CLOTHES
DRYER OR OTHER GAS APPLIANCES.
Before winter storage of the engine, unscrew the spark plug and put into the cylinder, (using
the spark plug hole), 2 or 3 cl of engine oil. Put back in place the spark plug then pull slowly the
handle starter 1 or 2 times
