CHAPTER 4:
STOPPING THE ENGINE.
Release the brake lever. (SEE FIG. 3)
DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG COVER AND STORE IT AS FAR AS POSSIBLE
FROM THE SPARK ITSELF.
NEVER STORE THE ENGINE WITH THE FUEL TANK FILLED WITH GASOLINE IN AN
ENCLOSED AND POORELY VENTILATED AREA, WHERE FUEL FUMES MAY REACH
AN OPEN FLAME, SPARKS, WATER HEATER, CLOTHES DRYER OR OTHER GAS
APPLIANCES, WHICH COULD SET FIRE ON FUEL OR FUEL FUMES.
CHAPTER 5:
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: THE MUFFLER AND SURROUNDING AREA ARE VERY HOT AND COULD
EXCEED 65° C, DO NOT TOUCH
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG COVER AND REMOVE IT AS FAR AS
POSSIBLE.
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE ON LOWER PART OF THE MACHINE, ALWAYS PLACE
THE MACHINE WITH THE CARBURATOR IN TOP POSITION.
A) OIL LEVEL CONTROL
Check the oil level of the engine every 5 working hours and before each use. (Please see
recommendations on oil chapter in this owner's manual)
B) ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
This operation must be done with the engine hot.
After the first use of a new engine, it is necessary to replace oil after 3 or 4 running hours.
After the first replacement you must replace the oil every 25 working hours.
If the engine is working in a dusty surrounding, you must change the oil more often.
Take out the oil dipstick.
