4.5 Resistance measurements

Disconnect the UUT from all sources of supply and
check that it is at zero voltage !
Turn selector switch (5) to Ω
Plug the black test lead into the "COM" socket and the
red lead into the "V/Ω" socket.
Connect the probes to the UUT.
Read measurement result.
If the display is not visible during measurement, press
the "HOLD" (3) button to retain the display. The clamp
can then be removed from the conductor and the sto-
red value read.

5.0 Maintenance/Calibration

When using UNITEST 93539 testers in compliance with the in-
struction manual, no particular maintenance is required. If
functional errors occur during normal operating, our service
department will check your instrument without delay.
Prior to cleaning, ensure that instrument is switched
off and disconnected from external voltage supply and
any other instruments connected (such as UUT, con-
trol instruments, etc.).
Never use acid detergents or dissolvants for cleaning.
After cleaning do not use the instrument until it is
dryed completely.
The current clamp must be calibrated periodically and checked
by our service department at regular intervals to ensure the
specified accuracy of measurement results. We recommend a
calibration interval of one year.
