Using the device
1) Fill the water tank (see section "Filling the Water Tray" above).
2) Plug the unit into a wall outlet.
3) Press the ON / STANDBY (Marche/ Veille) button on the remote control or the unit,
the unit starts operating. The corresponding LED lights up. Press the ON / STANDBY
button again to turn off the unit.
4) Press the COOLING (Rafraichissement) button on the remote control or the unit to
activate the cooling system. The corresponding LED lights up.
The water curtain inside begins to work, it cools the air.
To obtain a larger cooking, place ice cubes or pour ice water into the water tank at the
top of the unit.
5) Press the TIMER (Minuteur) button on the remote control or the unit to set an
operating time between 0.5 hour and 7:30 (the indicator lights up according to the
selected time). When this time has elapsed, the unit switches off automatically.
Each press of the TIMER key adds 30 minutes to the operating time.
0.5 = 30 minutes; 1 = 1 hour; 2 = 2 hours; 4 = 4 hours
6) Press the SPEED (Vitesse) button on the remote control or the unit to select one of
the fan speeds: SLOW > MEDIUM > FAST
7) Press the MODE button on the remote control or the unit to change the ventilation
mode and select one of the following 3 modes: Sleep mode / Natural mode / Normal
mode.
Sleep Mode:
- If initially the speed selected at beginning is fast, the unit starts operating for 1/2 hour,
then it automatically switches to medium speed, then 1/2 hour later it automatically
switches to slow speed. The unit will operate at slow speed for as long as you have
programmed with the timer.
- If initially the speed selected at beginning is medium, after 1/2 hour of operation, the
device automatically switches to slow speed. The unit will operate at slow speed for as
long as you have programmed with the timer.
- If initially, the speed chosen at beginning is slow. The unit will operate at this speed for
as long as you have programmed with the timer.
Natural mode: the ventilation is done in alternating rhythms
Fast- Medium- Slow- Medium- Fast- Medium- Slow. This ventilation mode is preset and
can not be adjusted.
Normal mode: To obtain a regular fan speed, you can use it in fast, medium or slow
speed.
