At the end of operation

Manually close the valve on the compressed gas cylinder by turning it clockwise.
Do not exert force.
Either use or completely empty the gas remaining in the pressure regulator (see Section
"Safety information for working with gases"). The gauge must fall back to "0".
The connection must be depressurised when the coupling is unfastened. It is
strictly forbidden to unfasten the coupling when pressurised and using a tool
except in an emergency. This will damage the gasket beyond repair, necessitating
a subsequent replacement.
Downstream equipment and accessories can then be disconnected. Please also refer to
the instructions for use issued by the manufacturer of the downstream equipment.
Use suitable protective caps to seal the connections on the compressed gas cylinder, the
pressure regulator and any other appliances.

Changing the compressed gas cylinder

1. Manually close the valve on the compressed gas cylinder by turning it
clockwise. Do not exert force.

Either use or completely empty the gas remaining in the pressure regulator (see
Section "Safety information for working with gases"). The gauge must fall back to "0".
The connection must be depressurised when the coupling is unfastened. It is
strictly forbidden to unfasten the coupling when pressurised and using a tool
except in an emergency. This will damage the gasket beyond repair, necessitating
a subsequent replacement.

Downstream equipment can then be disconnected. Please also refer to the instructions
for use issued by the manufacturer of the downstream equipment.

Threaded connections with hexagon nuts must be loosened using an appropriate tool.
Hexagon nuts with right-handed threads (without a groove around them) must be
loosened by turning them anticlockwise. Hexagon nuts with left-handed threads (with a
groove around them) must be loosened by turning them clockwise (see Fig. 2).
