Please read these instructions carefully before using the product and keep them in a
safe place for future reference.

The instructions include safety guidelines and other information important for the
proper functioning of the appliance. Please read the instructions carefully and keep
them in a safe place. If the appliance changes hands, be sure to give the instruc-
tions to the new owner. It is in your own interests to follow all safety guidelines.

Safety information

• The appliance can only be used at the correct voltage: 120/240 Volts AC
(Alternating Current).
• Never use the appliance in a bathtub or shower, above a sink filled with water or
with wet hands. Also, do not use the appliance in the vicinity of a bathtub, sink
or any other reservoir filled with water.
• Never submerge the appliance in water. Even when you clean the appliance, it
must not come into contact with water.
• When the appliance is turned on, never set it down on a soft cushion or blanket.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such
as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air open-
ings free of lint, hair, etc..
• Never use the rollers while sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administrated.
• Use the appliance inside the pouch only and keep the case opened.
• Turn off the appliance whenever curling is interrupted.
• Always disconnect the plug from the socket outlet:
- in the event of any malfunction during use;
- before cleaning the appliance;
- when the appliance is not being used.
• Do not pull on the main lead when disconnecting the plug from the socket outlet.
• Never wrap the main lead around the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance:
- when the main lead is damaged;
- when the appliance is visibly damaged;
- when the appliance has fallen or been dropped.
• Avoid dangerous situations. Never allow a person with a motoric deficiency to
use the appliance without supervision.
• Children do not understand the dangers of electric appliances. Therefore, children
should never be allowed to use electric appliances without supervision.
