Installation of the dirt separator

lation.

6.1

Maintenance interval

The maintenance interval depends on the
amount of dirt particles within the system and
operating conditions.
• Carry out the fi rst check after 4 weeks. Then
check once a year.

Cleaning the dirt separator
DANGER
Functional restriction of medical equip-
ment as a result of magnetic fi elds!
The appliance features permanent magnets
that generate a static magnetic fi eld. Mag-
nets may impair the function of heart pace-
makers and implanted defi brillators.
 If you wear such implants, please keep a
suffi cient distance from the magnets.
 Warn any persons with such implants
from coming too close to magnets.
Clean the dirt separator as described below:
Keep a rag at hand to catch escaping water.
1. Pull the magnet from the immersion pocket, from
DN 125 pull the magnet on the cable and keep the
cable tensioned.
2. Remove the cap, from DN 125 the plug.
3. Briefl y open the drain valve several times until slud-
ge no longer escapes.
4. Check the system pressure and, if necessary, refi ll
the consumed water quantity.
5. Reinsert the magnet into the immersion pocket,
from DN 125 let it slide back in.
6. Screw the cap onto the socket, from DN 125 screw
in the plug.
7. Correctly dispose of dirt particles.

Pressure test

As part of a hydraulic pressure test, the pressure
must not exceed 1 ½ times the maximum operating
pressure.

Removal and disposal

NOTICE
Risk of environmental pollution!
Incorrect disposal (for instance with domestic
waste) may lead to environmental damage.
 Dispose of packaging material in an en-
vironmentally friendly manner.
 Dispose of the components appropriately.
If no return or disposal agreement has been made,
you must dispose of the product yourself.
 Return components to the recycling system if pos-
sible.
 Dispose of components which cannot be recycled
according to the local regulations. Disposal in the
domestic waste is not permitted.
