Testing the function via the Interlink module
A function test of the Interlink module can be made via the Interlink
module's test button. With this test, a signal is sent for 40 seconds to
the signolux receivers as well as to further Interlink smoke detectors.
These receiving smoke detectors will react in the following way:
- With mounted in the base: By a double warning sound.
- With base removed: By the lighting up of the red transmission
indicator on the module. The test button on the top side of the
smoke detector is not active when the base is removed.
Functioning principle in case of smoke detection
Upon detection of smoke, the Interlink smoke detector will send a wire-
less signal (868.35 MHz) to any registered signolux receivers as well as
further Interlink smoke detectors within transmission range. The signo-
lux receivers will react to the signal with flashes of light and/or sound.
The triggered Interlink smoke detectors give off an alarm sound.
