1. General information

This manual contains important information concerning the proper ins-
tallation and use of your smoke detector. Please read these instructions
in their entirety before mounting and activating the smoke detector and
keep them for future reference.
In case of fire, lethal smoke spreads quickly and often unnoticed trough
the entire apartment. The signolux smoke detectors warn of lethal fire
gases at an early stage. A triggered alarm is displayed on all paired
signolux receivers within the RF signal range as well triggering further
Interlink smoke detectors within transmission range.
The electronics of the smoke detectors are constructed in such a power
saving way that a typical operational time for the smoke detector of 10
years can be reached with one battery.
Humantechnik does not accept any liability for expenditures of time,
material and money which may result from alarming a manned stati-
on, e.g. security firm or fire brigade.
