DANGER! Risk of electric
shock
• Only connect the plug-in power unit to a
properly installed and easily accessible
wall socket, whose voltage corre-
sponds to the specifications on the rat-
ing plate. The wall socket must continue
to be easily accessible after the device
is plugged in.
• Ensure that the plug-in power unit cable
cannot be damaged by sharp edges or
hot surfaces. Do not wrap the plug-in
power unit cable around the device.
• When using the device, ensure that the
plug-in power unit cable cannot be
trapped or crushed.
• When removing the plug-in power unit
from the wall socket, always pull the
plug and never the cable.
• Pull the plug-in power unit out of the
wall socket, ...
... if there is a fault,
... when you are not charging the de-
vice,
... during thunderstorms and
... before removing batteries for disposal.
• Do not use the device if there is visible
damage on the device, the plug-in pow-
er unit, or the corresponding cable.
• If the plug-in power unit or the corre-
sponding cable of this device are dam-
aged, they must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer service de-
partment or a similarly qualified person,
to prevent any hazard.
DANGER from batteries
• Do not expose the device to direct sun-
shine or heat. The ambient temperature
should not be lower than 0 °C and high-
er than +40 °C.
• The charge contacts on the device must
not be connected by metallic objects.

• The batteries may only be charged with
the original accessory (plug-in power unit).
• When the batteries have reached the
end of their service life, the batteries
must be removed and the device and
the batteries must be disposed of (chap-
ter "Disposal" on page 66). Do not try
to replace the batteries.
• The batteries which have been removed
for disposal may not be reused or taken
apart.
• Protect the batteries against mechanical
damages. Fire hazard!
• Should the electrolyte solution leak out
of the batteries, avoid contact with
eyes, mucous membranes and skin.
Rinse immediately with plenty of clean
water and consult a doctor. The electro-
lyte solution can cause irritation.
• The removed batteries may not be
thrown into a fire or short-circuited. The
batteries may overheat and explode.
WARNING! Risk of injury
• Place the plug-in power unit cable in
such a way that no one trips over it or
steps on it.
• Do not switch on the device if the shav-
ing head has been flipped open.
• The cutting blades are sharp. Handle
with care.
• Do not use the device if the shaving foil
or the shaving head are damaged.
• Do not use the device on open wounds,
cuts, sunburn or blisters.
WARNING! Risk of material
damage
• Only use the original accessories.
• Never place the device on hot surfaces
(e.g. hob plates) or near heat sources or
open fire.
• Do not cover the plug-in power unit to
prevent overheating.
• Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
