Positioning the fire
Any existing chimney should first be professionally cleaned
before connecting the appliance to it.The flue duct should
be fitted with an effective chimney cowl, to ensure a good
draught in the chimney no matter what the wind
conditions are.The type of chimney cowl and the position
of the opening must meet any applicable local standards, to
ensure it works properly.
The fire has been designed to be built either into a new
fireplace or tightly into a wall without a fireplace.
Allow sufficient space for the depth of the appliance
(350 mm).
N.B.: work accurately, allowing for the narrow flange on
the inside.
Positioning the appliance in a new fireplace
Position the appliance at the required height and connect
it. Finish the fireplace.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
Stand the fire on a plateau.
The plateau should be at least 10 mm lower than the
bottom of the hole so that the front overlaps the hole by
5 mm at the bottom. Connect the appliance.
Make a rectangular hole of incombustible and heat-
resistant material (e.g. promatec)
Concerto CF
Remove the box of logs and the bag of accessories from
the combustion chamber by opening the glass front.To do
this, unscrew the two socket-head bolts on the right of the
glass, using the socket-head spanner provided. Lift the glass
out of the brackets and position the heater as required.
There should be a little space all round the appliance in
the fireplace to allow the heat to escape.
Mantel iron
An L-shaped mantel Iron can be ordered from your
installer.The mantel Iron, intended to support the
brickwork above the fire.This enables a stress-free
installation of the appliance. Fit the mantel iron as
illustrated in fig. 2, allowing 5 mm between the top of the
appliance and the bottom of the mantel iron, so that the
packing cord provided seals adequately. Make sure that the
front of the heater (without the decorative facing) and the
front of the mantel iron are flush. Fitting the decorative
facing will hide the mantel iron from sight.

Connecting to a chimney flue
• The interior diameter of the pipe opening is 100 mm.
• Ensure that at least 3 m. (vertical) outlet pipe, 100 mm
diameter, is connected to the appliance.
• Corrosion-proof material should be used to connect the
pipe and the chimney flue.
• The chimney must be cleaned before the heater is
installed and the flue duct tested in compliance with
national guidelines.
