6.6| SOUND SETTINGS
Press the setting button (12) on the touch
screen. The level of sound volume set will
appear on the LED display (by default L3). Turn
the rotary knob (5) to set the volume higher or
lower and press the rotary knob to confirm.
6.7| CUSTOMIZATION OF FUNCTIONS
The times of both the warming/retoasting (8)
and the defrost (11) functions are customizable.
In order to change it, press the setting but-
ton (12) on the touch screen, then the function
you desire to change. The LED display (3) will
show the default value. Change it by turning
the rotary knob (5) and press the rotary knob to
confirm.
6.8| CRUMB TRAY
Crumbs produced during toasting are collected
in the crumb tray (6). To empty, briefly press
against the crumb tray. You will then be able to
pull it out of the device.
7| CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from
the mains and allow the appliance to cool
down. Use a hard brush to remove crumbs stick-
ing to the grids and the heater. Do not tilt the
appliance while you do this, or crumbs will
spill from the crumb tray into the inside of the
toaster. Then pull out the crumb tray, clean it
and reinsert.
Never immerse the toaster in water. Wipe the
outside of the appliance only with a damp cloth
and some washing-up liquid. Do not use harsh
or abrasive cleaning agents. Do not clean with
oven/grill spray. Do not use a steam cleaner.

▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be
fitted with a 13 A fuse conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved. If any other type of
plug is used, the appliance must be protected
by a 10 A fuse either in the plug or adapter or
