When the saw blade has reached full speed, press it down against the workpiece. The
depth of the saw blade is limited to 2.5 mm for this function.
The arrow at the 0 mark must be in line with the saw line.
Move the saw forward smoothly and even.
Once you have finished sawing, release the on/off button and lift the plunge saw off the
workpiece. Do not put the saw down until the blade has completely stopped running.
11.3
Sawing
Set the function selector(15) to the sawing position.
Adjust the cutting depth by using the lock knob(7) and check the cutting depth on the
depth scale (9).
Press the plunge lock button and the on/off button(2) to start the saw.
Once the saw blade has reached full speed, press it down against the workpiece.
The cutting depth varies wheter you use the guide rail or not. Remember that!

The cutting width marks(13) indicate the position of the saw blade when plunge sawing.
11.3.1 Free Plunge Mode
•
Move the mode selector to the free plunge position.
•
Set the desired depth of cut. (Ensuring the track compensation feature is in the up
position when not using the track).
•
Press the plunge lock button and rotate the cutting head forwards and cut to the required
depth of cut.
11.3.2 Bevel Cutting
•
Loosen the front and rear bevel knobs.
•
Adjust to the desired bevel angle.
•
Lock the bevel knobs and begin cutting.
•
Note: the cutting datum line should be aligned with the '45' marker arrow.
