Product specific rules of security
Check if the motor's vent holes are not blocked and that they work right.
Don't stop the saw blade by applying pressure to the saw or to the side of the saw blade.
Use the right type of saw blade for the job you want to do. With this saw you can work
with wood, laminate, chipboard, plastic sheets and thin non-ferrous metal sheets.
Never use damaged saw blades or ones with teeth missing.
Never use blades that have not the right size
Never use saw blades whose maximum speed is less than the tool's maximum RPM.
Check that the direction indicated on the saw blade is the same like the rotation direction
of the motor.
Always wear protective gloves when working with the blade.
Never place your fingers or hand on the item being cut in front of, behind or under the
plunge saw while it is running.
Only saw 1 item at a time
Use extra supports (table, trestle, etc) for long items so they do not tip off the workbench.
Items must be securely clamped. Don't work with items which are too small to clamp.
Only adjust the saw when it's not running.
Always keep the spindle and flanges clean.
The saw should not touch the item when starting.
Check if the item you want to saw is free from nails, screws or other objects that may
damage the saw blade.
After releasing the on/off-button, the machine will run on a little time
When sawing through workpieces, the sawing depth must be set so that the blade does
not go through the workpiece by more than the height of one tooth.
Make sure that you do not damage any objects, cables or pipes under or behind the
workpiece, e.g. when sawing in floors, walls and ceilings.
Make sure not to twist the saw, especially when bevelling. This may cause a kickback from
the saw groove.
