10. Operation
c) Play/Pause
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE
•
The time on the display starts running. The starting position of the track is automatically saved as a CUE mark.
You can stop playback in two ways:
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE
•
During playback, press the CUE button (11). The device returns to the CUE mark and pauses.
d) Track selection

Press the
| button (14), to jump to the next track.
•
Press the |
button (13) to jump to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track.
The selected track is played in the mode the CD player was in before this button was pressed.
Whenever a track is selected, the device automatically sets the CUE mark at the beginning of that track.
e) Search
This search is used to quickly find a particular position within a track.
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE
•
Turn the jog wheel (2) counter-clockwise to search backwards or clockwise to search forwards.
During the search, playback is active. When the jog wheel stops, the music is muted.
