1.1 Switch on by pressing the 'ON/OFF' button.
1.2 A start-up test will illuminate the Indicator lights, test the Pre-Alert Vibration
function, play the start-up tone and peform a battery test. Your Hero
now ready for use.
1.3 IMPORTANT: Handle the Hero
sensor. Do not bend the Movement sensor.
2.1 Fold over the top edge of the nappy/diaper.
2.2 Attach the Hero
2.3 Ensure the Hero
contact with the baby's tummy.
2.4 IMPORTANT: Ensure no skin pinching by gently sweeping your fingers
between the skin and clip.
3.1 When movement is detected, the Movement Indicator Light
flashes with each movement.
3.2 If no movement is detected for 15 seconds, the Hero
Pre-Alert Notification with Vibration and beep with a red flashing
Movement Indicator Light.
3.3 If movement is detected within 5 seconds after the Pre-Alert Notification
with Vibration, the Movement Indicator Light flashes red on each detected
movement as a Pre-Alert Indication to indicate that there has been a
15 second period where no movement was detected.
