Upper figure:
The top figure shows the assembly or running direction of the tail rotor toothed belt. Always observe that the belt is only
installed in this manner, and not twisted.
Lower figure:
Push the tailboom carefully back into the mechanics. Observe that the derive belt is turned according to the upper sketch.
Insert the main pinion with the belt pulley into the mechanics from the side and place the toothed belt around the belt
pulley.
Put a little oil onto the rotor shaft and then push the rotor shaft into the mechanics from above together with the top
adjustment ring.
Once you have attached the bottom adjustment ring, pull the main rotor shaft upwards and screw on the upper adjustment
ring. The rotor shaft must not have any vertical play in the mechanics. Finally, the two grub screws M3 x 3 at the belt pulley
are tightened.
To set the tooth backlash, push a narrow paper strip between the motor pinion and the gear pinion, push the motor towards
the gear and screw the motor to the motor carrier. Then remove the paper strip again. If set correctly, the two pinions will
securely interlock without catching or without showing too much play.
To set the belt tension, carefully pull back the tailboom. Align the rudder perfectly vertically. Tension the belt only enough for
the entire tail rotor drive to still work smoothly. If the tail rotor is tuned manually, the drive motor must turn as well. Attach
the tailboom with the two screws M2 x 5.

Upper figure:
Attach the tailboom supports to the elevator carrier and align the elevator horizontally before screwing on the elevator
carrier. Mount the tail servo (GS-095) on the holder and screw the linkage ball to the servo lever 5 mm away from the
rotating point.
Hook in the tail rotor linkage rod and align the tail servo holder before screwing it on so that the linkage rod runs in parallel
to the tailboom (see figure 1-2). The distance between tail rotor casing and servo holder must be 191.5 mm (see
figure 1-1).
Lower figure:
Build the three servo linkage rods. The entire length of the rods incl. ball joint receptacles must be precisely 31 mm. Then
clip on the rods to the swash plate and the servo levers.
If the assembly is performed correctly, the servo levers, swash plate and swash plate tappet lever then have to be aligned
perfectly horizontally. The angle of attack of the rotor blades must be 0° in this position.
If the lever of the tail servo is at a 90° angle to the linkage rod, the linkage lever of the tail rotor has to be aligned at a 90°
angle to the tailboom (see small fig. in the upper right). For correct setting, the tail servo holder can be moved on the
tailboom if required.
The 3-axis gyro and the receiver are attached to the chassis bottom plate. The flight controller (ESC) is installed at the side
of the chassis plate. The flight battery is installed at the front of the slanted battery attachment plate with hook-and-loop
tape.
Important!
Tighten the retention screws for the rotor blades only enough for the rotor blades to still automatically align at a
180° to each other in flight.
A precise functional description of the flight controller can be found after the installation instructions.
