1) Set the mode selector knob at "stereo", the tape selector
knob
at "CrO.",
the band
selector
knob
at "FM"
(GF-7 only) and the function selector knob at "radio"
position,
7) Hold the front cabinet and rear cabinet as shown Fig. 6.
Then
remove
them from the bottom
like pressing the
top of the front cabinet by reason of a tab at the bottom
of the rear cabinet.

3) Remove five knobs—the tone control knob, the balance
hold either end of the front cabinet and lift the cabinet
control knob, the volume control knob, the fine tuning
from the bottom like turning it round. (See Fig. 7)

4) By pushing the eject button, open the cassette compart-
ment.
Next, push and detach the part of the right-hand lock in
the cassette compartment towards the arrow (See Fig. 2).
And
then
remove
the cassette compartment from the
front cabinet as shown in Fig. 3.
5) Stick cellophane tape on the top and the back of the
buttons at the mechanism block as not to get injured the
buttons. See Fig. 4.
6) Remove
five screws at the front cabinet (A screw of
them is in the battery compartment.)

. SETTING
OF THE
FRONT
CABINET
1) Connect the socket of the speaker wire leads with the
plug at the amp. P.W.B.
2} Set the
record/battery
indicator
P.W.B.
and the FM
stereo indicator on the inside of the front cabinet. Fix
the wire leads with the wire holder at the left-hand tape
counter.
3) Set each switch and the pointer on the same position
that the front cabinet was removed.
4) As shown Fig. 11, set the front cabinet from the top of
its back so that the front cabinet bites three tabs as the
rear cabinet.
5} Deal with the speaker wire leads and APLD
programme
number indicators wire leads as not to hook them at the
magnet in the speaker.
6) Run your finger through between the pinch roller and
the record/playback
head and push the tuner frame.
Then set the pointer in the slot at the dial scale plate.
See Fig. 12.

Then lift the front cabinet towards the arrow (A) and
remove
the front cabinet by turning it round towards
the arrow @).
1G) Remove
the wire leads from the left wire holder of the
tape counter, See Fig. 9.
11) Remove
the LED
P.W. board at the front cabinet, and
disconnect the socket from the amplifier P.W. board. See
Fig. 10.
7} Pushing the front cabinet with both hands, set it in the
tabs at the bottom of the rear cabinet, so that APLD
programme
number
indicators
are
set
in the
front
cabinet rightly.
8) Fix five screws in the front cabinet and the battery
compartment.
9) Put the cassette holder spring on the front cabinet {see
Fig. 13} and put the part of the left-hand lock into the
hole. See Fig. 14.
Then push the lower right at the cassette compartment,
set the cassette compartment, push the part of the right-
hand lock towards the arrow (see Fig. 15) and hook the
front cabinet.
10) Fix in the front cabinet the tone contro!

tuning control knob and the tuning control knob.
