MECHANISM
BLOCK
1) Make
sure
that the front
cabinet
and
rear cabinet
have
been
removed
from
the unit.
2) Remove
the
P.W.
board
holder
(K) and
tape
counter
drive belt (L). See Fig. 8—2.
3) Remove three screws (G, | and N) at the dial cord stringing
frame, and take the frame
off. See Figs. 8—1 and 8-2.
4) Remove
two
screws
(M) at the mechanism
block, and
take the mechanism
block off. See Fig. 8—2.
5) For easier servicing, the leads nearby
may
be removed:
after the work, be sure to replace them where they were.

1) Make sure that the front cabinet and rear cabinet have

(J) from the amplifier P.W. board
and P.W. board

3) Remove
one
screw
(O) at the jacks P.W. board, and two
screws
(P) at the amplifier P.W. board,
then take out
a

STRINGING
1) Turn the drum fully clockwise and stretch its cord over

the parts in the numerical
order — as shown in Fig. 8—5.
2) Turn
the
tuning
control
shaft
fully
counterclockwise,
and fix it with the pointer aligned with the zero (QO) point
on the dial scale. See
Fig. 8—4.
