3 • Connect the compressed air pipe to the quick connector (2A),
take to a maximum pressure of 5,5bar indicated by the pressure
gauge (10).
Close the ball cock (2); disconnect the compressed air.
Lift and turn the pressure reducer clockwise (3), until the pressure
gauge (8) shows 1.5bar.
4 • Screw the corresponding cap (7 - Fig. 3b) onto the vessel of the
vehicle, open the ball cock (4), remove the air in the spiralled pipe
(9) by pressing the bleed valve, on the fitting (5A). Connect the
automatic connector (5) to the vessel cap (Fig. 3c).
Fill the hydraulic circuit vessel to remove the air from the small tank
itself.
5 • Bleed the system (Fig. 4).
• Open the front wheel bleed valve (Fig. 4a).
• Wait until all the air has escaped from the brake circuit.
• Quickly pump the brake pedal two, three times to remove the
residual air (Fig. 4c).
• Close the front wheel nipples (Fig. 4).
• Close the cock (4).
Once the work has been done, drain the system completely by
opening the cock (2 - Fig. 4b) and (1) and turning the reducer (3)
anti-clockwise.
Before unscrewing the filler cap (1) make sure, by pressing the bleed valve (5A) that the supply
tank is not under pressure.
N.B.: There is a BLACK knob (6) on the cap (1). It pops up when the brake fluid in the brake
bleeder is finished.
