Error Messages
The physiokey has several built-in self-test and monitoring mechanisms. These monitor the inte-
grated hardware and the function of the firmware.

Likely Cause and Solution
If the monitoring mechanism recognizes an error, the application is
interrupted immediately and a blue screen with an error message
is displayed.
The device is automatically switched off after 3 seconds with an
acoustic interval signal. Press the "Home" button to display the
error message.
The device can be switched on again with the "Home" button. The
self-test after switching on the device must not recognize any errors
to continue working with the physiokey. If this is not the case, the
device can be recalibrated and set to factory settings.
If the device cannot be switched on, the screen remains black or
can only be seen briefly, please check the battery. To do so, connect
the included charger. If the loading screen is displayed, the battery
is charged (refer to page 54).
The use temperature of physiokey is exceeded or fallen below mini-
mum. Wait until the device has cooled down or warmed up. It can
be turned on again afterwards.
Restart the device and open the settings menu. Select "Touch sensi-
tivity" from the list with the arrow buttons and press "SELECT".
Press the down button in the displayed sub-menu. The more plus
characters are displayed the higher the sensitivity of the touch-
screen controls. Press "SELECT" to apply the new value. After pres-
sing the "Home" button, the device may be used as usual.
