What is the physiokey?
physiokey is an adaptively regulated electrotherapy device.
The device uses the process of non-invasive electrical nerve stimulation which has been estab-
lished as a successful therapy for many years, through the electrode's contact with the skin. This
process is generally regarded as displaying extremely few side-effects.
physiokey can create bidirectional (in "Bioregulation") and galvanic (in "key-phoresis") forms
serving as a base for the following indications and fields of application:
Indications
The therapeutic aim of the physiokey is to reduce acute and chronic pain, improve blood circula-
tion and perform passive muscle stimulation for the following fields of application:

The recommended treatment duration for the devices ranges from a few minutes to a maximum
of 1 hour. The treatment is usually performed by moving the device on the skin.
physiokey is a medical product. The field of application is both in trained, professional therapy, as
well as home-use of medical laypersons.
Contraindications and Non-Applications
In the following cases, physiokey may not be used or only in consultation with a doctor:
Use prohibited on injured skin (e.g. open wounds and wounds which have not yet

Use prohibited in body orifices

Use prohibited on carriers of active controlled implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers)
•
Use prohibited in the area of the uterus of pregnant women
•
Use prohibited above tumours
•
Use prohibited on patients with cardiac arrhythmia
•
Use without consultation with a doctor prohibited on patients with malign diseases
