Device Settings
After switching on the device, the service menu can be accessed by pressing and holding the gear
symbol in the top right. The button can be released as soon as the service menu is displayed. Press
the arrow buttons at the left and right to select the respective settings from the list by pressing
"SELECT". The following settings can be made:
•
Language: The options English and German are available. The respective option is select-
ed from a list. Press "SELECT" to apply the selected language.
•
Sound: The sound can be switched on or off. Warning signals such as "low battery" cannot
be deactivated. The respective option is selected by means of two buttons for "Sound on"
and "Sound off".
•
Brightness: The maximum brightness of the display can be set in a range of 50 % - 99 %.
The respective option is selected from an energy indicator. Press "SELECT" to apply the
set value.
•
Touch sensitivity: The touch display offers seven sensitivity settings. The sensitivity is in-
creased with "+" and decreased with "-". The respective option is selected from a list.
Press "SELECT" to apply the set sensitivity setting.
•
Patient recognition: The following three sensitivity settings can be selected for patient
recognition.
High: Quick recognition may cause the device to keep running after use on some patientes.
Medium: Recommended setting for optimum recognition for most patients.
Low: Recognition after application with light pressure.
If the "Next" symbol is covered by the symbol with the crossed out hand, briefly press the "Home"
button to unlock the display.
