MAINTENANCE PLAN
The maintenance of an electric scooter is relatively simple and is limited to safety checks. To prevent rust, keep it clean and dry. It is recommended not to leave the TilChap battery
discharged for a long period of time.
Here are the check to be carried out based on mileage:
1,000 km inspection
Carry out an overall check of the vehicle in order to verify that all the components are in good condition and that all the screws are properly tightened. Also check the safety devices
(brake, pneumatic, brake fluid, light, indicator, etc.)
5,000 km inspection
BATTERY and CHARGER
• Check the voltage and amperage using gauges on the dashboard and testers on the battery terminals
• Check the status of the charger by checking the socket on the TilChap and on the charger
• Check the status of the controller by running the engine idle
BRAKING SYSTEM
• Visual check of the brake pads (a lining thinner than 1mm must be changed)
• Check the brake oil level
• It is highly recommended that brake pads be changed between 5,000 and 10,000 km
• Check the good condition and tightness of the brake caliper and brake disc bolts
TIGHTENING
Check and tighten if necessary all screws and bolts and in particular the screws of the following elements:
• Steering worm
• Wheel axles
• Stand
• Switch gear
• Shock absorbers
• Wheel motor
TYRES
It is highly recommended to change the tyres every 10,000 km
