TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND
3.4
OPERATION
The TF power unit is designed and produced to power
and control separately up to three motors in manual or
automatic mode via the sensors connected to it.
For manual operation, connect the power unit to a
keyboard with three switch keys, with the OFF position
central (see wiring diagram fig.01 par.5.5) each of which
will individually control the respective motor to open and
close the window in step-step mode. Alternatively, it is
possible to control the 3 motors via a remote or radio
control type TOPP TR8 the use of which is described in
par.6.6. Automatic operations follow a predefined logic.
When an atmospheric event such as rain or wind
exceeds the preset limits, the power unit automatically
closes the motors connected. Automatic control is made
in sequence to the last manual control received by the
control unit, and prevails over any other command given.
After receiving the automatic closure signal, the power
unit inhibits the block for about 10 minutes, during which it
is possible to control the motors manually (forced
opening). After this time, if the sensor is still active, the
motors will receive the automatic closure command from
the power unit, otherwise they will remain open.
Intervention of one of the two sensors disables
intervention of the other. The TF has a number of
operating modes that can be set by programming the
dipswitch microswitches. Using key SP1 it is possible to
perform emergency openings or closures and program
the radio control unit, and the blue led on the window
serves to monitor the status of the power unit.
To access the dipswitches and key SP1, just lower the
sliding cover of the TF as shown in fig.13.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

&
The operators must be informed about all possible
risks of accidents, the safety devices for their protection,
the general rules for accident prevention foreseen by the
international directives and laws in force in the country in
which the power unit is used. The behavior of the
operators must in every case comply strictly with the
rules for accident prevention in force in the country in
which the unit is used.
&
If the window is accessible or is installed at a height
from the ground of less than 2.5 m, if an untrained user
should tamper with it or with the remote control, provide
the system with an emergency circuit breaker that acts

CONFIGURATIONS OF THE TF

The TF feeding unit allows 3 different configurations that
the manufacturer decided to set during the stages of
assembling. Therefore, the most suitable configuration
for your application is to be specified in the order.
TF23 – Product No. 8C0070
It is used to power and control up to 3 C20 TOPP 24v
actuators individually, to open and close windows. For
the electrical connection, refer to the diagram shown in
Sol. 02 para. 5.5.
TF33 - Product No. 8C0071
Serves to control a 230V electric blind, a 24V electric
shade and an actuator mod. C20 TOPP 24V to open
and close windows.
The electric blind must be connected using optional
230V board. For the electrical connection, refer to the
diagram shown in Sol. 03 para. 5.5.
TF33CR - Product No. 8C0072
Serves to control a 24V electric blind, a 24V electric
shade and an actuator mod. C20 TOPP 24V to open and
close windows.
The electric blind must be connected using the optional
24V board. This latter is equipped with a potentiometer
that serves to adjust the force of the shade connected.
The optional board is calibrated in the factory with the
maximum power available. For the electrical connection,
refer to the diagram shown in Sol. 03 para. 5.5.
TF33 - Product No. 8C0073
Feeds and controls one 24V electric roller shutter, one
24V electric roller blind and one 24V C20 TOPP actuator
for the window automation.
The electric roller shutter has to be wired via the optional
24V electronic board (without trimmer to adjust the force
of the connected roller shutter).
For the electrical connections refer to wiring diagram in
Sol. 05 par. 5.5.
automatically to prevent the risk of crushing or dragging
the body between the moving parts and the fixed part of
the window.
&
It is strictly prohibited to remove or alter the labels
applied by the manufacturer on the power unit.
&
This appliance may not be used by persons (children
included) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capacities, or inexpert people, unless they are
supervised and taught how to use it by a person
responsible for their safety. Children must be controlled
to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
