GENERAL REMARKS

2.1

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before installing and using the device the installer and
user must read and be sure they understand every
part of this manual.
The manual is an integral part of the device and must be
&
kept for future reference until the equipment is taking out of
use and demolished.
This manual provides all the information required to use
&
the actuator correctly and as indipendently and safetely as
possible.This manual has been written for the owner of the
actuator, users and maintenance people.
This manual has been prepared by the manufacturer who
&
holds the copyrights. No part of the manual may therefore be
reproduced or published without the manufacturers' written
authorization.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify or improve
&
this manual and the products described at any time without
notice.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages to persons
&
or objects caused by failure to follow the instructions in the
manual.
2.2

INSTALLER

Installation, startup and maintenance of the power
unit must be done exclusively by specialized
personnel in possession of the technical and
professional requisites foreseen by the legislation in
force in the country of installation.
The specialized electrician must be able to install the
&
power unit, start it and make in work in "maintenance" mode;
he must be able to perform all repairs of an electrical and
mechanical nature and perform any adjustments and
maintenance and must be able to operate the device with the
power on in the electric cabinets and shunt boxes.
2.3

USER

Use of the power unit must be assigned exclusively to
&
users who comply with the instructions contained in the
manual and/or related TOPP device manuals (such as
window actuators).
The users must be able to control the power unit under
&
normal conditions using the commands provided. They must
also be able to work with the control unit in maintenance
mode for simple routine operations (cleaning).
The user must not perform operations reserved for
&
maintenance personnel or specialized personnel. The
manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by failure to
comply with this prohibition.
2.4

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The power unit is designed and must be used
exclusively to power and drive "ORIGINAL

INSTALLATION AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
TOPP" motors for windows and doors, and any
other type of use is strictly forbidden unless
authorized by TOPP.

The power unit must be kept on the premises in a
suitable position depending on the distance of the motors
to drive in respect of the safety conditions foreseen in the
country of use.
&
Do not install the power unit outside the premises
subject to atmospheric agents.
&
Do not use the power unit in premises with a
potentially explosive atmosphere.
2.5

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

For service, contact your local distributor or the
manufacturer.
2.6

PACKING

Every standard package (Fig.1) of the product (cardboard
carton) contains:
1. Bottom wrapping;
2. Top wrapping;
3. Short hole cover window;
4. Long hole cover window;
5. IR window;
6. LED window;
7. Sliding cover;
8. Switch cover;
9. Shape the insulating paper ;
10. Clamp holder ;
11. Mammut ;
12. TF control circuit for 3 24V motors;
13. Switching power circuit board;
14. Hardware kit consisting of two self-tapping M3 screws
5x38, two Ø3.5x38 screws;
15. Clamps;
16. Installation and use instructions.
Make sure the package contains all the parts described
&
above and that they have not been damaged in shipment. If
you find anything wrong do not install the power unit. Request
technical assistance from your local distributor or the
manufacturer.
