and /or damaged areas. Do not use heating pad if there are broken parts, missing parts or damaged

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
• Do not use an electrical outlet that has become loose or does not engage the power plug tightly.
• Consult with a physician for use with controlled substances.
• Do not tuck in the wired area of this heating pad.
• Do not route electrical cords between the mattress and boxspring. Do not allow the cords to be pinched.
• Keep the controller away from drafty areas that may become damp or wet such as an open window.
• Do not use this heating pad if you or the product is wet.
• Be sure that this heating pad is used on an alternating current supply circuit of the proper voltage.
• Turn off and unplug when not in use.
• Indoor use only.
• The electronic and magnetic fields emitted by this heating pad may interfere with the function of a
pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits for electrical field strength (5000 V/m max),
magnetic field strength (80 A/m max), and magnetic flux density (0.1 millitesla max). Please consult
your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this heating pad.
• This model contains filling materials. If filling material is released due to product damage, discontinue
use of product. Do not ingest filling material. If filling material is ingested, seek medical attention.
• Do not use while sleeping.
• This pad should not be used on or by an invalid, sleeping or unconscious person, or a person with poor
blood circulation unless carefully attended.
• Do not use on areas of insensitive skin.
• Burns can occur regardless of control setting. Check skin under pad frequently.
• Do not use pad with liniment, salve or ointment preparations that contain heat-producing ingredients.
This can result in skin burns.
• Do not tuck the heating pad or supply cord in a sofa or other furniture. All portions of the heating pad
or controller should be visible at all times.
• Do not trap or pinch the cord.
• Do not use this heating pad on animals. Keep all pets away.
• Do not crush pad. Avoid sharp folds.
• This heating pad is intended for use on top of the body. Do not sit or lie on top of the heating pad. Never
place pad between yourself and a chair, sofa, bed or pillow.
• Loop cord loosely when storing. Tight wrapping may damage cord and internal parts.
• This product is intended solely for household use and not for medical or commercial purposes. Not for
hotel, motel or other institutional use.
