Filters and ERV core washing instructions
For proper maintenance of your energy recovery core please follow these instructions

Remove the air exhaust filter by sliding it
out.

Rotate the metal plate holding the ERV core
and intake air filter in place and remove
filter. Wash filters in warm soapy water
then rinse and let dry.
* When cleaning only the filters, make sure
to replace the metal plate after removing
the filter.

Remove the core from the unit.

With one of your core's air inlets facing
down, place it in a large sink, bathtub, or
shower.

Pour clean tap water through the face of the
core facing upwards until it runs clear.
Ensure the entire surface is rinsed.

Rotate the core so that its other air inlet is
facing down and repeat step 5.

With plates still oriented vertically allow the
core to dry, normally 2-3 hours.

Slide back the core into the system making
sure that the arrow points to the motors.

Replace the exhaust air filter.
10 Replace the intake air filter and rotate the
metal plate holding the filter and ERV core
in place.
