Please note! Take care to keep the batteries fully charged and avoid overcharging. Refer to the instructions
supplied with the charger.
If the scooter is used less than once a month, we recommend that you charge it for at least 48 hours to im-
prove performance and ensure that the batteries last as long as possible.
e.
How can battery life be extended?
Charging batteries to their full capacity maintains reliable capacity and extends their life. Keep the batteries fully
charged as often as possible. Keep the scooter in a dry environment at room temperature. To prolong the life
of the batteries, be sure to remove the key from the switch when the scooter is not in use.
f.
How can I increase the number of kilometres per battery charge?
It is difficult to achieve ideal driving conditions: a smooth, hard, straight, flat road instead of a slope, pavements
with cracks etc. Each condition will affect the maximum mileage per battery charge. Each condition will affect
the maximum mileage per battery charge. Fully charge the battery before each use. Plan your route in advance
if possible, to avoid obstacles in your path.
- Do not overcharge the scooter, only take the essentials.
- Try to maintain a constant speed.
- Avoid sudden stops and abrupt driving.
- Ensure that all cables are correctly connected.
g.
What types of batteries are used, and what are their capacities?
We use two-cycle batteries. We recommend sealed, maintenance-free batteries such as AGM or colloidal bat-
teries. Do not use batteries with removable covers.
Caution! Batteries contain corrosive chemicals. Please use AGM or colloidal batteries to reduce the risk of
leakage or explosion.
h.
Why does a new battery give a poor performance?
The chemical technology of batteries is different from that of car batteries or nickel cadmium cells. Deep cycle"
batteries are specifically designed to provide fast power. (8 to 14 hours). New batteries are full when delivered,
so they may experience temperature changes during transport. This may take a few days to stabilise.
i.
Will the following steps ensure maximum efficiency and extended battery life?
1. Please fully charge the batteries before using them for the first time.
2. Use the scooter in a familiar and safe place. Drive slowly and do not go too far the first time.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for 4 or 5 cycles for maximum efficiency and to prolong battery life.
j.
Use on public transport?
Before using the scooter on public transport, please check that it is authorised.
Warning! Batteries contain lead and chemicals. Wear goggles and gloves if you have any problems with the
batteries. Please wash your hands after handling.
Please note! The type, chemical properties, and ampere-hour (Ah) capacity of the two batteries must be exactly
the same. Refer to the product specifications.
Keep tools and other metal objects away from the batteries. This can cause electric shock.
To replace the batteries, please use a spanner.
