USING THE BATTERY
1.
Description
The traveler scooter is equipped with two long-life 12V 12 Ah batteries. To ensure safe and efficient charging,
only use the charging system supplied with the scooter. Please do not charge the two batteries separately. The
scooter should be charged for between 8 and 14 hours before it is used for the first time. To ensure stable and
constant use: the scoo-ter batteries must be fully charged.
Caution! Do not use an extension lead to connect the battery charger, use the standard power socket directly.
Unattended children must not play near the scooter when the battery is being charged.
Do not charge the battery while the scooter is running. Keep the scooter away from sources of heat. Check
that the charger, wiring and battery connectors are not damaged before using the scooter. If any part is dam-
aged, contact the after-sales service. The temperature of the battery charger shell
may rise during charging. To avoid burns, do not try to open it. Please do not expose
the battery to adverse or extreme weather conditions. If it is inadvertently exposed
to adverse conditions, set it aside before use.
The charge level of your batteries is indicated on the scooter's dashboard (from left to
right): a green light indicates a full charge, a yellow light indicates a low charge and a
red light means that the batteries are empty.

Frequently asked questions
a.
How does my charger work?
When the scooter's charge is low, the charger works harder by transmitting more electric current to increase
the amount of charge. When the battery is about to be fully charged, the charger will gradually reduce the
amount of current it transmits. The charger's current is close to 0 amps when the battery is charged. The charger
maintains the charge in the battery rather than overcharging the battery when connected.
b.
Can another charger be used?
We supply a charger that exactly matches the type, capacity and properties of the battery pack. We therefore
recommend that you only use the original charger supplied with the scooter. We would also remind you that it
is not advisable to charge the two batteries separately.
c.
What should I do if the scooter does not charge?
Check that the battery fuse is working correctly. Check that the plug is correctly connected to the scooter's
power supply.
d.
How long should the batteries charge?
There are two main factors to consider when charging the batteries.
- Daily use throughout the day
- Occasional use
Depending on how they are used, you will need more or less time to recharge the batteries. The battery charger
we supply is designed not to overcharge. To ensure that the scooter works properly, please follow the instruc-
tions below:
- If you use the scooter every day, charge the batteries after each use. The batteries should be charged for 8 to
14 hours.
- If you use the scooter occasionally (once a week or once a month, for example), the batteries should be charged
at least once a week for 24 hours.
