.. Inserting a CD
Make sure that there is about 15 cm of space above the device so that the lid of the
CD compartment can open without hindrance.
Lift up the lid of the CD compartment on the front edge, where there is a curved
recess
.
The CD compartment lid opens upwards. OP will appear on the display.
Place a CD with the labelled side up onto the axis in the centre of the CD com-
partment.
Press lightly on the side, so that it clicks into place on the axis.
Close the CD compartment by gently pressing down the compartment lid. The
CD will start to rotate, and will appear on the display.
If no disc is inserted, or if the disc cannot be read, NO will appear on the display.
Wait until the CD has stopped rotating before opening the CD compart-
ment. Press first.
.. Inserting USB memory sticks
Insert the USB memory stick into the U S B port.
The tracks are read and the device immediately starts to play the first track.
The USB port is not suitable for charging USB devices.
.. Starting/stopping playback
Press the button to start playing tracks. To pause playback, press the but-
ton again. Press the button once again to resume playback.
.. Track selection, fast rewind/fast forward
Press the button to skip to the previous track. Use the button to skip to the
next track.
Hold down the button to fast rewind within a track or hold down the but-
ton to fast forward.
