... Storing stations automatically
Press the / S C A N button to start the station search. All the stations found
by the search are now stored automatically, one after the other. This can only be
performed when the radio is switched on.
Press the / S C A N button to stop storing the stations automatically.
After the station search, playback starts with the station in the first programme
position (P). Use the / F O L D . / M E M . and / F O L D . / M E M . +
buttons to select the stored stations.
... Storing stations manually
Tune in a station that you would like to store.
Press the P R O G . / R A N . / R E P. button. The programme position (e.g. P,
P etc.) flashes on the display.
While the display is flashing, use the / F O L D . / M E M . and /
F O L D . / M E M . + buttons to select the desired programme position for this
station.
Press the P R O G . / R A N . / R E P. button again to store the station; the set
frequency and the memory slot are displayed.
... Selecting stations
Press the / F O L D . / M E M . or / F O L D . / M E M . + button once or
several times to select the desired memory slot. The programme position (e.g.
P) is shown on the display.
. Playing back CDs and USB storage media
Press the
/ F U N C . button once or several times until, depending on the re-
quired operating mode
– CD or
– USB is shown on the display.
.. Notes on the media
Note the following:
•
Due to the numerous different file systems and file formats, connected USB
memory sticks cannot be guaranteed to function.
•
Depending on the size of the data medium, it may take some time for the sys-
tem to be detected.
•
Supported file systems are FAT16 and FAT32. The supported file format is MP3.
•
Depending on the medium, certain functions may not be supported. For example,
on an audio CD you might not be able to select a folder or the track information.
•
External hard disks are not supported.
